With a reliable contractor you can expect your home to remain dry safe and cozy all year round. It is the responsibility of a residential roofing company to keep the elements out! Once you have decided on a contractor, deliberated shingle color and have paid your down payment it’s time to install the roof. You may be asking yourself what happens next? Below we will outline the process and what to expect out of your residential roofing company.

Production:

Once shingle type and color have been decided your material order is sent over to our supplier. Depending on product availability the time frames can vary quite a bit. A common shingle and color type will typically be delivered within a week of order placement. Less common shingle types and colors can take up to 30 days to be received. It is important to speak with your contractor if you have any timeline issues as a material drop can dictate the completion timeline.

Material Drop:

On the day of your material delivery a truck will arrive to offload the shingles and accessories onto the roof. This is the preferred method as it is a lot easier for the crews to have the material on the roof rather than on the ground. Sometimes limited access will only allow for a ground drop. If the material is ground dropped the installation may take an extra day or so to complete.

Installation:

Once the material drop has been confirmed you will receive an install date. The crew will prep the home with tarps, trailer placement and move any items that could be in harm’s way. Next the crew will begin removing the shingles and offloading them into the dumpster on site. This is a loud and dirty process I would advise to not be inside the house while this labor is being performed. The grounds are cleaned constantly during the tear-off minimising the amount of debris build up. Once tear off has been completed the crew will dry in the roof and start installing your shingles.

Inspection:

Upon completion of the project it is the responsibility of the residential roofing company that you hired to schedule an inspection. All residential roofing projects need to be permitted and inspected upon completion.

What Do I get after inspection?

Once the roof installation has been completed and all payments have been made,  you will receive our 5 year workmanship warranty as well as all the product warranty extended from the manufacturer. Give Mountain Reach Roofing and Gutters a call today for a Free Roof Assessment. (720)-443-5386
